Soluna Fine Art is proud to present Soglia, the debut solo exhibition of Italian contemporary painter Raffaele Cioffi at our gallery. The exhibition will showcase a series of new oil paintings created in 2023, belonging to Cioffi's renowned body of work, Soglia, which he has been developing for over half a decade. Soglia, which means "threshold" in Italian, represents the artist's exploration of liberating light from the confines of lines on a canvas, allowing it to exist as atoms in the air, flowing and free. Through harmonious and nuanced colors, Cioffi creates depths and passages within the artwork, inviting viewers to step forward into these entrances or activated blank monitor screens. Collectively, his works evoke enigmatic dimensions, offering viewers the opportunity to interpret the world through the lens of his innovative use of light. Soglia will be on view from 15 September to 1 November 2023, with an opening reception on 15 September (Fri) at 5 - 8pm.
